Refund policy
Thank you for shopping at The Racing Room Xtras!
We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we offer a refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.
Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges
- Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must be in the original packaging.
- To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.
Damaged / Wrong Goods Exchange / Refund
- Please inspect items on delivery/receipt and contact us immediately at sales@theracingroomxtras.com if it is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@theracingroomxtras.com with the subject ‘XTRAS EXCHANGE' and we will send you information on how and where to return your item.
Exempt Goods
The following are exempt from refunds:
- Gift cards
- Sale items
How to Return an Item
- Email us at sales@theracingroomxtras.com with a scanned copy of your receipt/proof of purchase and your name and address.
- We will send you an email with the address to send your item to.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If a refund is approved then it will be processed and credited automatically to your credit card or original payment method within 14 working days.
Shipping
- You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs of returning an item.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
- Please note, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item unless it is sent as a ‘SIGNED FOR’ parcel.
Late or Missing Refunds
- Please allow 14 working days from us receiving your goods to any refunds being credited to your credit card/payment method as it can take some time for your credit company to process payments.
- If you have not received a refund after 14 days, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
